Fundraiser For Corbett Family
FUNDRAISER UPDATE
Kinjo’s Salmon Sashimi Fundraiser for the Corbett family was a success! With your help and some generous donations from staff and customers, together we were able to raise $28,126.13 for the Corbett family. Every year Kinjo will invite the whole Corbett family to come dine and follow-up on how they are doing and to watch the kids grow up.

Thank you so much to everyone that helped contribute to this great cause.

Dear Guests,
We kindly ask for your help in a time of need in assisting us to raise funds for a former Kinjo associate who recently suffered a sudden and tragic loss. Saori came to Canada from Japan on a holiday visa and met Chris Corbett from Nova Scotia and they married in 2005. Saori’s dream of having a family and life in Canada came to an abrupt halt when Chris passed away on March 9, 2018 at the young age of 38. He left behind his wife Saori and their four children, Jason (12), James (11), Daniel (8), and Hana (3). With no life insurance and immediate relatives here in Canada, Saori will need all the help and support she can get from friends and people like you.
We are hoping to raise over $40,000 from May 1st 2018 to May 31st 2018. This will help cover immediate expenses for the Corbett family and assist Saori in the financial challenges ahead.
Kinjo Sushi & Grill will donate 50% of all the sales for every Salmon Sashimi sold from all 5 Kinjo locations to the Corbett family. As a gesture of appreciation to all our amazing Kinjo customers in helping the cause, Kinjo will add an additional piece of Salmon Sashimi per order. We would like to clarify that there will be no profits made on Kinjo’s behalf, we are simply covering food costs (excluding labor).

Additional donations can be made through:

On behalf of Kinjo Sushi & Grill we sincerely thank you for your time and support.
Sincerely,
-Kinjo Management Team
